We were using oscommerce as the shopping cart of choice for setting up e-commerce stores in the past, but improvements and feature development had slowed down on that platform, and no major update has come out for the last few years.
We also needed a way to leverage and incorporate social media and advance functionality into our e-commerce stores and found Magento, which has all the advance features an online business would ever want.
